Lots of Fun Stuff

Oh boy, has this been a fun weekend for me and Jason! Thursday was Jason's birthday where we had a birthday dinner for him at his dad and Marsha's house. Friday was chili and a bonfire at Aileen and Julian's. Saturday was Jeremy & Cristina's wedding!

Jason had a great birthday. He bought himself a tv. Marsha got him a Florida State birthday cake. I got him a shirt from Banana Republic. Check him out...

Friday was a blast. Aileen made chili, and Julian made a bonfire. We took the chili out to the bonfire and ate it while sitting by the fire on blankets. We took Ethan's play pen out there so he could safely be out by the fire with us. After we ate chili, we made smores! Mmmm Mmmm Good! Here are a couple of pictures from Friday night.

Today at 3:30, our cousin Jeremy married Cristina at The Big Oak Tree in downtown Thomasville. It was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. I don't have any pictures of the married couple (like a dumwad), but I do have one of me and Jason (of course). The reception was at the jazzy Business Exchange building... the tallest building in Thomasville. The reception was on the top floor, so I was able to get some really neat pictures of Broad Street.

Looking forward to another fun and fabulous week! My birthday is coming up next weekend! Woo hoo!

Laura's 1st Blog

While Jason watches Rocky III sipping on some decaf, I sit at the computer and reflect on my day. Today is a day between 2 bigs days: Yesterday was Election Day, and tomorrow is Jason's 25th birthday. The first is disheartening for me, and the latter is fun and fabulous. So I choose to write only about happy times in this blog.

For his birthday, he wanted a particular shirt from Banana Republic, one of our favorite stores. I ordered the shirt he wanted, so it will hopefully get here soon. I believe he plans on getting a TV for our living room as well. I'm stoked because it's a birthday present not only to him, but to me too. Haha! It's the gift that keeps on giving.

Tomorrow, we will have dinner at his dad and Marsha's home. Marsha said we'll probably grill out. The weather has been fabulous all week, and I hope tomorrow will be no exception. Jason and I actually grilled hamburgers tonight.

After dinner, I made Jason's favorite cookies... peanut butter cookies. I left them in the oven too long. They are now hard, and the edges are crusty. Oh well, perhaps we'll have him a fabulous birthday cake tomorrow to make up for my baking boo boo.

Well, I guess I'll sign off for now. Thanks for reading my ramblings. I'll update soon. There's some change in the air at work, and I'm excited to write on it when it comes into fruition. Have a fabulous rest of your night, and have a great rest of your week.

If you happen to read this tonight or tomorrow, be sure to tell Jason HAPPY 25th BIRTHDAY!

Embarrassing, but I'm sharing anyway...
